Cassell was good not because of the team around him. Tom Brady, one of the best QB’s ever, was his mentor. The Patriots offense has always been horrible with the exception of QB and Cassell was not their best one, but having a legend like Tom Brady as a teacher, he knew how to handle himself. The only solid reciever the Patriots have is Wes Welker, and he is aging. Randy Moss depends on Brady (look how well the pair did in 2007). I agree with bos04sox by saying he hasnt been on a losing team.
