Will we be able to pick our duty station after he leaves recruiting school?

Friday, September 25th, 2009
Ashlee R asked:

Will we be able to pick where we go after he leaves recruiting school or at least have a say in it? Under the impression we would be here at Ft. Campbell for awhile, we bought a house and now he’s being sent off to Army Recruiting School in Ft. Jackson, Alabama. Will we be able to pick where we get stationed afterwards? I’m not ready to sell the house!

MARICRIS asked:

Received a call today, from a gentleman claiming to be a Sargent from the Army National Guard, Recruiting Office, I am curious as if a Sargent would not be over qualified. And if the gentleman, was who and from where he said he claimed he was from.
