No Royal Marine Commando, are the Special Forces of the Royal Marines, as Force Recon are the Special Forces of the US Marine Corps.
Royal Marines are grunts like US Marine Corps , I mean they are infantry with vehicles, they are not Special Forces.

I could be wrong, but I think that all Royal Marines are commandos. Their full title is “Royal Marine Commandos”. To say that Royal Marines are “only grunts” is a gross understatement.

To my knowledge a regular Marine would do very little, if any, parachuting. There’s a lot of parachuting in this video because these are Recon/Force Recon Marines. It’s a slightly different ball game.
